Jane and I have been married for 34 years and have 3 adult daughters, 3 sons-in-law, 3 grandchildren and 2 grandkittens! One of our greatest joys is spending time with the various members of our family.
We have been involved in counselling, coaching and pastoring for some 30 years.

David
I was born in South Africa in 1949, raised in Rhodesia (now called Zimbabwe) and I converted to Christianity when I was 22. I came to Australia in 1972 to attend Bible College where I met and married Jane in 1974.
I graduated from Sydney Missionary & Bible College (SMBC) in 1974 with a Diploma and a wife and then studied for three years at Moore Theological College in Sydney before being ordained as an Anglican minister in Armidale in December 1977. Since then I have served in several parishes in both rural areas and in Sydney before retiring from church ministry in 2006 after 28 years. I have theological qualifications from SMBC, London University, the Australian College of Theology and Melbourne College of Divinity.
I have also trained in psychology at Charles Sturt University, the University of Western Sydney and the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP). I am a registered psychologist and an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
In all my work my goal is to help people realize in their lives the teaching of St Paul,
“be transformed by the renewal of your minds”(Rom 12:2)
To that end I have also done training in Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Reality Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Time Line™ Therapy and Neuro-Semantics®.
I have also done much teaching in the area of counselling, at a number of colleges including:
- Morling College (1992 - 2002)
- Tabor Bible College (1996 - 2002)
- With the Anglican Counselling Centre at Ashfield (1994-2000)
- InterRelate (2000)
- St Marks Theological College in Canberra (2001-2003)
- Australian College of Applied Psychology at Wynyard, Sydney (2002-present)
I now live in semi-retirement in Bundanoon, NSW. I continue a small counselling practise and I teach a few hours a week at ACAP in Sydney. In my spare time I like to walk with Jane, bird watch and occasionally snorkel.

Jane
I was born in Cuba in 1948 to British parents who migrated to Australia in the early ‘50s.
I was raised in Sydney and trained as a Nurse and Midwife and then went on to Bible Collge where I met and married David and soon became a mother of three delightful daughters.
Over the years I has occasionally nursed, but more often than not, devoted her time to sharing in ministry in various Anglican parishes with David while caring for our children. Along the way I have led study groups, choirs and sacred dance groups.
In more recent years I has re-entered the workforce in the area of retail which I really love because I really enjoy being with people! I have also become a trained and accredited LifeCoach with Results Life Coaching in Sydney and have great joy in helping people establish life goals clearly, and working towards those goals systematically.
I love to encourage people in their growth journey, spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren Anna, Julia and Nathaniel. For leisure I enjoy holidays, walking with David, watching birds with him and have learned to snorkel. I love being creative also and I do calligraphy and especially patchwork.
